Cabinet Secretary for Water and Sanitation Alice Wahome has castigated Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and his allies for attacking Nominated MP Sabina Chege after she chose to work with the government.
Wahome who took to her Twitter to castigate Raila said it was wrong for the former prime minister to pull a gender attack against Sabina yet she stood with her in the hour of need.
She accused Raila and his allies of demeaning women and even asked leaders to stop attacks targeting women.
"I condemn in the strongest terms possible the gender-based insults hurled at Hon Sabina Chege by unknown characters led by The Hon Raila Odinga whom she supported wholeheartedly under complicated dynamics in her region. This demeaning of women leaders must stop," she said in a tweet.

Chege is among the 32 Jubilee MPs who visited President William Ruto at State House during which they declared their allegiance to the current regime.
Jubilee party is still a member of the Azimio coalition on whose ticket Raila used to vie for the presidency.
Jubilee leaders meeting Ruto seemingly disappointed Raila who attacked the leaders using words that were perceived as demeaning.
Raila has recently lost a number of MPs who have pledged to work with President William Ruto to deliver development projects.
This has exposed Raila badly since he needs a team to form a solid opposition to the government.
