Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has revealed that Mutuini Hospital in Dagoretti Sub-county will be named after First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto.
The Governor made the revelations while speaking on Tuesday at Mama Lucy Hospital.
"We will table a motion to rename it to Mama Rachel Ruto Mutuini hospital," he said.
If successful, that will be the first hospital to be named after Mama Rachel in the country.

The first lady will join a list of her predecessors in having a hospital named after her.
Former President Mwai Kibaki's first lady Mama Lucy Kibaki has a hospital named in her honour.
Former first lady Mama Ngina Kenyatta also has several schools and hospitals named in her honour.
Last year, the then Nairobi Metropolitan Services renamed Mathare- Korogocho after former First lady, Margaret Kenyatta.
The hospital is now called Mama Margaret Uhuru Hospital.
The names are often given simply to show respect and recognition to the first lady for her recognition to the health sector and society at large.
Nairobi has no specific policy guiding the county on the naming of streets, roads, buildings and even hospitals.
