Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina has told off Kisumu Senator Prof Tom Ojienda for defending his links with President William Ruto.
Ojienda had defended his visit to State House saying he was only after development of the people of Nyanza.
But in a rejoinder to the claim, Ledama chided the Senator saying his work is to simply oversight the county and not development.
He said the Senator should focus on his mandate saying his visit to State House was unwarranted.
"My friend Prof Tom Ojienda, your role is oversight. when you become Governor of Kisumu you can worry about development since you will have a budget but for now you oversight and promote the principle of separation of powers. Visiting Statehouse to beg for development is a no-no!" Ledama said.
