Naivasha High Court Judge Grace Nzioka dismissed the claim however in her ruling that she delivered virtually.
Mwende, 44, said she was possessed and blamed her former boyfriend for the deaths.
The bodies of the four minors were found locked in their house near Naivasha High school.
The woman is said to have poisoned them before fleeing and leaving them for death.
Mwende's brother Jackson Kimani while addressing the press then said the sister who worked with an NGO in Naivasha had been laid off two months before the incident due to Covid-19.
She worked as a Mathematics teacher with an NGO in Naivasha town.
"We knew something was wrong. She had posted some comments on social media and when we came to enquire we found the four children dead.
The Children were aged between two to 8 years.
Andrew Opiyo, a neighbour revealed that they got concerned about the welfare of the minors after their house remained shut and they could not be seen outside.
"They were ever jovial and full of energy. We can't believe they are now dead. We are trying to come to terms with their death and what could have driven this woman to commit such an incident on her own children," he said.
