The Party has retained Tana River Governor Issa Timamy as its party leader.


Amani National Congress Party has announced major leadership changes.

The party has also announced a change in its office location.

“This is to notify the general public and party members of the change in ANC party leadership and the relocation of the party headquarters to 961 Riverside Drive, off Riverside Mews, House No. 15,” the Party announced.

The party's headquarters was initially domiciled at Amani House, Loyangalani Drive, Off Convent Dr, Nairobi.

The party has made reorganization of its leadership with Emuhaya MP Omboko Milemba being named the new secretary general in an acting capacity.

He takes over from Vihiga Woman Rep Beatrice Adagala who was serving in an acting capacity.

Adagala took over from Simon Gikuru who was named Information Chief Cabinet Secretary.

The Vihiga Woman Rep has now been named the ANC deputy party leader.

The Party has retained Tana River Governor Issa Timamy as its party leader.

Timamy took over the party after Mudavadi resigned to join Presiden William Ruto's cabinet as Chief Administrative Secretary.

In other leadership changes, Shinyalu MP Fredrick Ikana was appointed to serve as ANC’s Kakamega chairperson.

He takes over from Cleophas Malala who quit the party and joined UDA to be the Secretary general.

Other changes instituted by the party include national youth league leaders Ameera Abdulahi (Chairperson), Martin Lunalo (Vice Chairperson) and Francis Okwara Mukhwana (Secretary).

Other reorganisations are Alexa Nzioki (Treasurer), Truphena Asembo (Youth Coordinator) and Fella Miheso (Organizing Secretary) are also among the new leadership changes.
