Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has condemned the leaking of intimate videos and images of both men and women without their consent.
The comments come a day after Chief Administrative Secretary Millicent Omanga became the talk of the town after her alleged leaked video went viral on social media.
The video made her a subject of social media trolls as Kenyans shared the clip.
The CAS however downplayed the embarrassment and stated that she remains unbowed.
In an apparent response to the development, Passaris said the leaking of such content is a violation of privacy and dignity.

"The release of intimate images of any woman or man without their consent should be condemned in the strongest possible terms as a violation of their privacy and dignity," Passaris said.
"It is not only a gross invasion of their personal life, but also an attempt to intimidate, shame, embarrass and silence them."
She went on to add that while those behind the leaking might think they are shaming the subject matter, the most affected is society since it is portrayed badly.
She went on call for a strong stance on the matter to tame the vice.
"The shame is not for my sister, the shame is ours as a society that thrives on the destruction of one’s character oblivious of the pain or damage it causes to not only the aggrieved but also family, friends, and the public," she stated.
"This is a reprehensible act that cannot be justified under any circumstances and it is important that we take a strong stance against such behaviour and hold those responsible accountable for their actions."
