Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko blamed President Uhuru Kenyatta over his impeachment woes.
The former governor blamed 'dynasties' for his impeachment claiming that he was ousted because his father did not have ties with the top bosses.
"I was impeached because my father did not know Uhuru Kenyatta's father, this man Jomo Kenyatta. I was impeached because my father did not know Jaramogi Oginga Odinga...," Sonko said.
"I was impeached because my family is not known... these dictators have joined forces to ensure that one of them leads this country," he continued.
On Thursday, December 31 2020, Sonko officially joined the Tangatanga team and vocalised his disappointment in Uhuru.

From respected to impeached
Sonko also took the moment to call out President Kenyatta for jumping ship and joining forces with his former political nemesis ODM leader Raila Odinga.
"I respected President Uhuru, we fought for President Uhuru, we loved President Uhuru we made sure he became President... we joined forces again in 2017 but he has turned against everyone...," Sonko lamented.
"We don't know where our President has gotten this ruthless act," the former governor added.
Sonko was impeached following a tussle with the Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) boss Mohamed Badi, who was handpicked by President Kenyatta to oversee 4 key functions in the city.
