KANU national chairman and former Baringo senator Gideon Moi has lauded his wife Zahra for her role in their family.
The family witnessed their eldest child and only son initiating his plans to formalise his marriage.
Kigen Moi on Saturday, May 6, got officially engaged to his fiance Rebecca Chepchumba, an event that saw the attendance of renowned figures.
Following the success of the fete, the former senator took to social media to heap praise on his wife.
She attribute the success of the event to her, acknowledging her role as the matriarch of the family.

"I celebrate my dear wife Zahra Moi for being the pillar of our family. She is beautiful, compassionate, kind and devoted in everything she does.
I commend her for the exemplary effort in ensuring that our son Kigen Moi's engagement ceremony was successful," he said.
At the same time, Gideon congratulated his son on the milestone.
