Police in Kakamega are investigating an incident in which a 23-year-old woman is said to have killed her husband in Lunywenywe village, Kakamega County.
Police handling the case said the woman allegedly confessed to murdering the hubby.
Her husband Alex Fukwo Wasonyokha aged 31 first went missing leading to her arrest.
It is then that she is said to have murdered him on May 6.
The 23-year-old then led police handling the case to a house where the remains ns of the husband had been hidden.
Police broke the door of the locked house during which they stumbled on the body of the deceased.
Police who visited the scene said they found the deceased naked and lying in a pool of blood.
He was found with deep cuts on the neck, shoulder and left knee.
Police said they are yet to establish the motive of the incident.
She will be arraigned Wednesday during which police say they will seek additional days to complete a probe into the incident.
