Political blogger Pauline Njoroge has revealed a tough experience she recently had.
While joining others in marking the Mother's Day on Sunday, May 14, the social media activist recounted miscarrying her unborn twins.
Njoroge explained how the experience cut short the happiness she had gathered since conception.
"Not long ago I carried twins in my womb and they brought me the most fulfilling joy.
Those few months made part of my life’s happiest days, and I was ever smiling. One of my close friends even nicknamed me Mama Happiness," she wrote on Facebook.

She said she had to put up with the devastation brought about by the miscarriage.
"Losing my unborn children crashed me. Watching as they disappeared in a pool of blood caused me unexplainable pain. For several months I was an emotional mess and nothing could comfort me. I broke down a million times and tears became my daily food," she added.
Despite the emotional pain, Njoroge said she resorted to putting up brave appearance on the internet.
Her engagement on various discourses with her followers covered the agony she was in.
It had to be her reliable support system to recall her back to her normal being.
"I am grateful for the strong support system in my life, which carried me through this period, and for God’s grace," she stated.
