Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi believes Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka is the best fit to succeed Raila Odinga as the Azimio La Umoja Coalition Party leader.
The lawyer also adds that the former vice president is best placed to vie for the presidency in the 2027 elections under the Azimio ticket.
Dismissing Karua, Ahmednasir observed that the Narc Kenya Party leader does not befit the status of a leader able to take the baton from the former prime minister.
He suggested Raila blundered by picking her as his running mate as he does not have the political clout to be a deputy president.

"I think Hon Kalonzo Musyoka is a worthy successor to Hon Raila as azimio's leader and torch bearer for 2027 and beyond. I was always dismayed by the false pretences and reckless postures by Hon Martha Karua that she is azimio's leader in-waiting!" he said on Twitter.
Raila lost the presidency to William Ruto who was making his first stab with former Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate.
Kalonzo had been slated to take a post akin to the prime minister in Raila's government should the Azimio ticket have won the top seat.
Despite their loss, the Azimio principals have maintained their camaraderie nine months now into the vote.
