On his way to Kisii from Nakuru home, the Former Treasury official was reported missing on June 18.
Police say his body was found in River Kuja on June 22, four days after he was reported missing.
The body was picked up from River Kuja by police officers from Kamagambo police station.
Tom is the brother of Ken Osinde who worked as the chief of Staff at the office of Deputy President during President William Ruto's era.
The discovery comes even as police hold two suspects in connection with his disappearance.
Rongai head of DCI Donnata Atieno said the suspects in custody are workers to Osinde at his Ngata home in Nakuru.
They were initially being investigated over the abduction but police sources say they could be probed over involvement in his death.
One of the workers in custody is a driver to Osinde. He was seen driving Osinde’s car in his village in Nyamira and to the place it was found dumped and vandalised on the roadside in Kiligoris.
Before then, he is reported to have driven the Toyota V8 Vehicle to a car wash in Osinde’s village a day after he was reported missing.
Car wash attendants told the police the suspect instructed them to wash the car outside only.
The suspect had spent the night in his village with Osinde’s car which was unusual.
It is from there that he is believed to have then drove it to Trans Mara and abandoned it there.
