Trade and industry CS Moses Kuria has asked Former President Uhuru Kenyatta to accept that his successor William Ruto won the Presidency.
In a tweet, the CS vowed to defend Ruto’s administration saying he would not tolerate further plans to sabotage the current government.
His claims come in the wake of allegations that Uhuru has been funding the Azimio protests.
"Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta must respect President William Ruto and accept that he won the Elections. This country is bigger than Uhuru and his personal interests," he said.
In an apparent warning to him, Kuria said they will not hesitate to take action if the alleged sabotage continues.

"I'll personally defend and safeguard this Government as I did to my fellow constituency mate when he was the president," he added.
"The Mt Kenya region is both a great shareholder and beneficiary of this Government and we won't take the nonsense anymore."
Though Kuria did not link his message to Azimio protests led by Raila Odinga, a section of close allies of President Ruto have often said the former President is the financier of the demos.
Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wah has bee on the frontline in castigating Uhuru over the demos.
Uhuru has however never issued a statement on the same and has maintained his low-key life.
The Friday protests across the country saw at least six deaths reported with most Kenyans taking to the street to castigate the Ruto regime.
