Digital strategist Pauline Njoroge and her friend Jane Mwangi Nduta were on Monday, July 24 set free by a Malindi Law Court on a free bond.
In another twist, Police also dropped the drug related charges pressed against Pauline who was on Friday arrested in Watamu, Kilifi County in the company of her friend.
The two were charged with four counts of cyber-related offenses which they all denied.
The Government sought 30 days to hold Njoroge and the two others, including the driver whom they were arrested with but abandoned the application during the session.
Pauline Njoroge's lawyers led by Ndegwa Njiru said that Pauline, Jane, and the driver were released on a free bond because the application by the prosecution was hopeless.

At the same time, President William Ruto's digital strategist Dennis Itumbi also disagreed with the charges pressed against Pauline Njoroge and called for her unconditional release.
