Thirdway Alliance Party Leader Ekuru Aukot and Lawyer Miguna Miguna have roasted each on social media in a series of tweets that demonstrated a clash of sorts.
It all began after Aukot first said the current regime of President William Ruto is slowly becoming similar to that of Late President Daniel Moi whose rule was characterised by violation of the constitution.
"Kenyans, we can pretend but we are slowly back here. It feels just like yesterday. We must re-liberate Kenya," Auko captioned a video of Koigi Wamwere's sentencing in the Moi area that he tweeted.
But Miguna in a rejoinder dismissed the claims by Aukot saying his conclusion is misleading as the Moi era is incomparable to the current situation in Kenya.
He went on to challenge him to reveal if he was a political detainee in the Moi era to be able to compare the current situation to that of the past.

"Ekuru Aukot is a certified hypocrite and coward. If he were not, he would take a firm stand for democracy, the rule of law, and respect for human rights. But as a man who survives on blackmail and political thuggery, he is trying to be paid by either President Ruto or Conman Raila, the way he was paid in 2017," Miguna.
But Aukot fired back at the lawyer reminding him how he helped him at the hour of need when he was sacked while working at the Office of the Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
"This is comical. A man was fired on #411 while being a messenger in the former Prime Minister's office. He was sent to Naivasha to attend a workshop. He came to me crying like a little child. He begged to be given his terminal dues," Auko said.
"I stepped in and helped on humanitarian grounds because he needed to buy a ticket to go back to his shit-hole somewhere in Toronto, at least to survive in a soup kitchen."
The two leaders supported President William Ruto's bid in the 2022 elections.
