Thirdway Alliance Party Leader Ekuru Aukot has told off Former IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati for claiming that the 2022 General Elections were the most free in the history of Kenya.
This comes after Chebukati had tweeted saying the August 2022 polls were the freest, fairest and most credible in its history.
"In August 2022, Kenya held the freest, fairest and most credible election in its history," Chukati said in a tweet.
Aukot in a rejoinder described Chebukati as 'fake' saying his nomination exercise of the Presidential candidates was choreographed.
The Thirdway Alliance leader went on to say that Chebukati will rank the worst in the event the history of election is analysed.

"You're fake. The nomination process was choreographed. You couldn't understand basic constitutional provisions. You were biased toward most of the candidates. When history is properly written, you will be named as the worst chairman of IEBC Kenya. After all, you were not even the best during the interviews," Ekuru Aukot said in a tweet.
Aukot is one of the few presidential aspirants who were blocked from vying for the top seat after failing to meet the minimum requirement.
IEBC chair barred Aukot, Businessman Jimi Wanjigi and Preacher Reuben Kigame over ground that their signature collection did not meet the minimum threshold.
