Turkana Governor Jeremiah Lomorukai has openly declared his allegiance to President William Ruto.
Speaking on Thursday, October 12 during the Turkana Cultural and Tourism Festival in Lodwar Town, the Turkana Governor said he will work with President Ruto and support his agenda.
Lomorukai noted that he was being threatened over his association with the Head of State saying there is no crime for a county boss to work with the President.
"As the governor of Turkana County, I decided from the onset that I would work with you (President William Ruto) and support your agenda. I was elected by the people of Turkana, not elsewhere, so these small threats to leaders, suggesting that a governor of Turkana working with the president is wrong, who told them that working with the president is a crime?" he posed.

The ODM Governor went on to say that he will deliver the Turkaan votes to President Ruto in the 20227 general elections.
"I will work with you today, tomorrow, and all the days to come. I will bring you the Turkana County votes, there is no bargaining about that. I will deliver for you all the six sub-counties,” Lomorukai added.
He was elected as the Turkana Governor in the 2022 general elections under the ODM party ticket defeating former CS John Munyes and former MP for Turkana central John Lodepe who vied under the UDA Party ticket.
