Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga has announced that he is in India together with his wife Ida Odinga.
In a statement via his X account on Tuesday, October 24, Raila said they flew to the Asian nation courtesy of their mutual friend.
“Mama Ida Odinga and I are in India, courtesy of our mutual friends who graciously introduced us to the fundamentals and advantages of Ayurvedic practices,” said Raila.
His visit to India comes at a time when both President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua are out of the Country.
President Ruto flew to Saudi Arabia to attend the Future Investment Initiative Conference at the King Abdul Aziz International Conference in Riyadh.

In a statement on his social media accounts, Ruto said countries discover navigate and expand by walking together.
“We can only grow, prosper, and advance when we walk together with other countries across the globe to discover, navigate, and expand new frontiers and markets,” said Ruto.
DP Gachagua on the other hand departed the country on Monday evening for Belgium on a three-day official visit.
In a statement to newsrooms on Monday, October 23, the Deputy President will represent President William Ruto, at the Global Gateway Forum hosted by the European Commission in the Capital, Brussels.
"The Forum aims to strengthen relations between the European Union (EU) and its partners, including Kenya, in key sectors such as digital innovation, green energy, transport, healthcare, and education," part of the statement read.
