Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namamba has made one request to Charlene Ruto to secure his legacy under the docket assigned to him by President William Ruto.
CS Namwamba, who engaged Charlene for intensive talks at his office on Tuesday, January 23, majorly dwelled on his brainchild project in the Ministry of Sports, Talanta Hela Initiative.
Namwamba informed the President's daughter that the initiative had great potential to help youth earn from their talents and skills.
However, the CS pleaded with Charlene Ruto to capitalise on her huge following on various social media platforms to popularise the initiative.
Namwamba noted that Charlene's support was key to revolutionising the initiative and making it a success in the Kenya Kwanza administration despite facing headwinds in its infancy stage.

"They discussed areas of mutual interest and collaboration, with CS Ababu assuring Charlene Ruto of his Ministry's keen focus on promoting the youth affairs through monetization of the creative and sports industries in line with Talanta Hela program," the Ministry stated.
"Additionally, the CS called on Charlene to use her great social media presence and her huge following in support of the revolutionary Talanta Hela initiative, which is already putting #PesaMfukoni on the youth, sportsmen and women as well the creatives."
On her part, the newly appointed Kenyan Blood Ambassador lauded CS Ababu for his transformational leadership at the ministry, acknowledging the huge benefits of the Talanta Hela program in identifying, nurturing and monetizing talents.
The Talanta Hela online adds yet another dimension to the ministry’s talent nurturing, and identification, with scouting now expanding to every corner of the nation, supported by the digital platform.
The CS said during its launch that Talanta Hela is a “Practical Manifestation of Bottom-up, and has created that critical mission pipeline to tap talents from the grassroots, including the schools’ ecosystem, and tunnel those talents to the very top where they can where they can be monetized to benefit the individual: the family, the community and the Nation”.
