State House Spokesperson Hussein Mohamed has also come to dismiss the social media reports.

Social media reports that a woman was spotted in both Embu and Kisii counties during President William Ruto's development tours are false.

A spot check by Nairobileo.co.ke on Monday, August 19, showed that there were two different women when President Ruto launched the Cianthia Village Last Mile Electrification Project in Mbeere North and in Itabo Ria Karani Village, Bonchari, Kisii County.

While launching the electrification project in Embu, the President is seen with a lady, identified as Mama Lydia, wearing a skirt and blouse with blue and white patches and her hair braided.

President Ruto, in the company of his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua, visited her and had tea.

On the other hand, the woman in Kisii wore a headscarf and had a larger body than the lady in Embu.

During the launch of the project in Kisii, President Ruto visited Ruth Moraa’s posho mill where REREC upgraded her posho mill by installing an electric motor.

The Head of State then visited Moraa's home where he had breakfast with the family.

State House Spokesperson Hussein Mohamed has also come to dismiss the social media reports claiming the President was seen with the same woman in different locations.

“It’s not true that same woman was at different locations of the President’s development tours,” Hussein stated.
