Three men who were abducted in Kitengela on August 19 by individuals suspected to be police officers have been released.
Law Society of Kenya President, Faith Odhiambo, confirmed their safety on Friday, September 20, detailing the whereabouts of activist Bob Njagi.
She also shared a video of Jamil Longton and his brother Aslam Longton, both confirming they were safe.
Odhiambo disclosed that Njagi found his way to Tigoni Police Station at 4 a.m. on Friday, where he received assistance and expressed gratitude to Kenyans for their prayers.
"To family, friends and every Kenyan that has continued to pray for me, I wish to confirm that I am well and with my family. It is now time to quiet the noise, be grateful for life and for everyone to reflect on why Kenya matters," Njagi remarked.

Describing the ordeal, Jamil and his brother Aslam disclosed that they were released on Thursday night after being dumped in a thicket at Gachie area in Kiambu County.
"I want to thank Kenyans and all those who stood with us. We were released last night in a thicket at Gachie before we walked and found an estate where we charged our mobile phones and communicated to our family that we have been released and we are alive. We we disclose more details through the LSK president," Jamil explained.
The release of the trio comes after reports went round on social media on Thursday night that activist Njagi had been killed.
Speaking to the press on Thursday after being installed as the new Inspector General of Police, Douglas Kanja denied that the police were holding the three and noted that an investigation was underway.
“You are aware that I have just taken over the office, but what I want to mention is that what I have gotten from our officers is that we don’t have the Kitengela three with us, but what I know is that a report was made and we have got an active investigation,” Kanja remarked.
