He revealed that he spoke with his wife the night that she was killed.

Abdi Mohamed has broken his silence following the murder of his wife, daughter and niece who lived in Eastleigh.

Speaking to the media on Monday, October 11, Mohamed detailed that he spoke to his wife on the day that she went missing.

On the other hand, he indicated that he had spoken to his daughter some days before the murders.

According to his account of his events, his wife, on the evening that she was murdered, had informed him that she was going to the hospital to get treatment.

He detailed that the wife's skin had been itching and wanted to see a doctor about it.

"I talked to her on the night she disappeared around 7ish. I did speak with her through WhatsApp and that was the last time I spoke to her," he stated.

"She told me that she was going to see a doctor for skin itchiness."

Further, Mohamed thanked the police and Kenyans who pushed for the investigations into the killing of the three. So far, the main suspect behind the killings has been arrested and arraigned in court.

"We hope that justice will be served," Mohamed added.

According to police, the main suspect was arrested on Sunday, November 3 after being tracked down by detectives.

"Detectives have successfully apprehended Hashim Dagane Muhumed today after an extensive investigation into the tragic murders of a mother, her daughter, and her 12-year-old niece. The horrifying crime prompted a determined manhunt for the suspect," DCI reported.

"Muhumed is currently in police custody, where he is undergoing processing ahead of his arraignment scheduled for tomorrow at the Makadara Chief Magistrates Court."
