Police in Nairobi are investigating a tragic happening involving a young woman, 18.
The woman whose identity the police kept under wraps jumped off atop the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) and immediately succumbed to the severe injuries she sustained.
A police report seen by Nairobi Leo suggested the deceased fatally harmed herself.
According to the investigators, the deceased's severely disfigured body was discovered on the second floor of the building, near the amphitheatre.
"It was reported that there was a body of an unknown female adult lying on the second floor of the KICC building adjacent to the amphitheatre. NPS officers rushed to the scene and established that it was the body of one female (name withheld to inform next of kin first) aged about 18 years. The body was badly dismembered, and it is suspected that she committed suicide by jumping from one of the top floors of the same building," the police report partly read.
