The Kenya Meteorological Department has issued its rainfall projection for Nairobi and its environs expected in the next 24 hours
In a statement dated Tuesday, November 19, Kenya Met noted that rainfall would range from light to moderate between Tuesday and Wednesday, November 20.
Some parts of the Nairobi metropolis will also receive heavy rainfall during the 24 hours.
Therefore, city residents were advised to prepare adequately for the weather conditions such as carrying umbrellas and dressing warmly.

Estate Projections
Some of the Nairobi estates that will experience significant rainfall within the 24 hours include parts of Lang'ata, Kamukunji, Embakasi East and Embakasi South.
Significant rainfall was also projected for Dagoretti South and North, Westlands and Roysambu.
Parts of Juja, Kiamba, Kabete, Limuru, Ruiru and Kiambu Town will also experience significant rainfall during the 24 hours.
