Njeri said the attack stopped after the watchman intervened and rushed Wanjiku to the hospital.

She also stated that following Wanjiku's arrival at the hospital, the said Baby Daddy showed up and demanded to see the victim.

"The watchman is the one who saved her life and they rushed her to the hospital. Where Elias showed up in a shirt splattered with blood, demanding to be shown Florence. Luckily the hospital had been made aware and refused to allow him to see her," she stated.

Njeri noted that the attacker also showed up at Wanjiku's apartment and demanded to see his child or he would harm them.

"He also showed up at her apartment, insisting on taking his child or he would kill the children. The neighbours chased him away. Meanwhile, her relatives tried to report the matter and three police stations insisted it was not their jurisdiction. The matter is now with Menengai West Police Station," she added.
