The Kenya Railways Corporation has suspended commuter train services on the Limuru-Nairobi route for the morning of Monday, November 25.
In a statement, the corporation announced that the train that plies the route will not be available on Monday morning due to unavoidable circumstances.
"We wish to notify members of the public that due to unavoidable circumstances, the train that plies Limuru - Nairobi CBD route will not run this morning," Kenya Railways stated.
It, however, noted that commuter trains serving Lukenya, Syokimau, Embakasi Village and Ruiru stations will run as per schedule.
"We apologize for any inconvenience caused and will provide updates on service resumption in the course of the day," Kenya Railways remarked.

On November 12, the corporation announced a temporary suspension of train services from Nairobi to Kisumu.
In a statement, Kenya Railways stated that train services on the route would remain suspended due to ongoing line rehabilitation.
"The Kisumu Safari Train service is currently suspended due to ongoing line rehabilitation. Plans to restore the service are at an advanced stage, and it is expected to be available by the festive season," the statement read.
Kenya Railways suspended its Nairobi-Kisumu train services earlier in the year due to damaged railway lines which were affected by heavy rains and previous flooding.
