"I was really fighting not to be taken into the car, I did a lot of kicking because they were trying to pin me down. They tried to cover my face. They were using some piece of cloth and put it on over my nose and my mouth.
Tsehai noted that the abductors demanded that she hand over her phone. They managed to get the phone after searching her bags. They then demanded the PIN to unlock the phone.
After refusing to give in, she noted that the abductors left the vehicle to have a discussion.
Upon return, they informed her that she should be released and directed her not to look at them or the vehicle once she was released. Her phone was also taken away.
"I am sure part of the abduction was to get access to my devices and the activities that I do online," she added.
On the other hand, she thanked Kenyans for pushing for her release opining Kenya was one of the safest countries in the region.
Her abduction led to public uproar among Kenyans with various diplomats condemning the incident.
