Kenya Railways has directed that all bookings for the Madaraka Express Passenger Service should be made strictly through its official channels.

In a notice on Monday, February 3, the corporation has outlined three primary ways for passengers to book their tickets.

According to Kenya Railways, travelers can make their bookings online by visiting the official website; www.metickets.krc.co.ke.

Additionally, passengers can use the USSD code by dialing *639# on their mobile phones, but those who prefer in-person bookings can visit any of the Madaraka Express Passenger Service stations.

Kenya Railways further clarified that all official communication from the corporation will be conducted exclusively through the phone numbers; 0709 907 000 and 0709 907 555.

The corporation warned that it will not be held responsible for any issues arising from bookings made outside the authorized channels.

"The Corporation will not be held liable for any issues arising from bookings or calls made outside the official channels listed above. We urge all passengers to utilize the authorized channels to ensure a smooth travel experience on the Madaraka Express Passenger Service," the notice read.
