Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi on Thursday, February 20 slammed the Kenya Kwanza government over initiating new projects while several others have stalled.
Speaking while appearing before the National Assembly Labour Committee, Muturi noted that some projects have stalled for more than 30 years.
The Labour CS mentioned that he went to Wote in Makueni County and found house projects that started three decades ago still stalled.
“I don’t know whether there is something wrong with our psyche as a country. I am saying this because I have traveled around this country, and I know some stalled projects which have been there for more than 30 years. We are going to have projects that are terrible to not just ourselves as Kenyans but even to visitors in this country,” said Muturi.
CS Muturi advised the government to focus on completing one project at a time before starting another.

"If you don’t have enough money to do all of them, can you finish one? Can we get enough allocation to finish one and then the year that follows you can do the one," the Labour CS added.
Muturi has in recent weeks been criticizing the Ruto-led Kenya Kwanza administration over the rise of abductions and extra-judicial killings.
On January 31, Muturi called on President Ruto to establish a commission of inquiry to probe alleged enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings in the country.
The embattled Labour CS has also been skipping cabinet meetings since he began attacking the government.
