New details have emerged in the murder of Briton Businessman Campbell Scott, whose body was discovered in a forest in Makueni last week.
As revealed by detectives during the arraignement of two suspects on Monday, March 3, the deceased may have been killed at a house in Pipeline Estate.
Police detailed that the house belonged to Alex Kithuka - one of the suspects that was arraigned alongside Albunus Mutinda.
According to the police, the two were arrested along the Nairobi-Mombasa Road on Saturday, March 1, after it was established that they had attempted to withdraw money from the businessman's credit cards.

Police detailed that they were yet to retrieve the credit cards at the time of arrangement. Therefore, they called on the Court to grant them 21 days to hold the suspects.
“His phone and credit cards are yet to be recovered. Due to the seriousness of the case, the applicant is apprehensive that if released on bail at this time, they will not attend court," the prosecution detailed to the court.
Consequently, the request of the police was granted by Magistrate Lukas Onyina.
"The application meets the requirements of the constitution, the two to be held in police custody for a period of 21 days as sought," the Magistrate ruled.
Scott went missing on Sunday, February 16, while on a three-day business trip to Kenya. The 58-year-old was in Kenya to attend a conference.
He was reported to have been last seen at an entertainment joint in Westalands in the company of a Kenyan man.
