The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced a vacancy for the position of member at Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC). 

The commission is seeking applications from qualified Kenyan citizens who wish to be nominated to serve in this role. 

The appointed individual will represent the Public Service Commission in the SRC, a body mandated to regulate salaries and remuneration for public officers. 

According to PSC, to qualify for this position, candidates must hold a degree from a university recognized in Kenya. 

They must have at least ten years of experience in either finance and administration, public management, economics, human resource management or labour laws. 

Additionally, applicants must meet the integrity requirements stipulated in chapter six of the Constitution and have a distinguished career in their respective fields. 

Appointed individuals will be responsible for advising on salaries and remuneration for public officers and conducting salary reviews and market surveys.

They will aso be tasked with ensuring fair and equitable pay structures and making recommendations on pensions and allowances for public officers.
