The MP, who was at one time a close ally of Ruto, was recently replaced from his position as chairperson of the Budget Committee.

His removal was seen as a consequence of his fallout with the boss. This was followed by allegations by some MPs who claimed that he was using his position to allocate more resources to his constituency.

On his part, the MP expressed that he did not know the reason why he was replaced. He also noted that no one had ever complained of his leadership before.

"I also do not know. I am also saying that in good faith because I have not come here to blame anyone. I only came to set the record straight," he remarked during the interview.

"No one in the leadership of our coalition, from whichever position, has ever called me in regards to the position, what I need to do better, what I need to change or things that need to be done in a different manner."
