Dagoretti North MP Beatrice Elachi's son, Elvis Murakana Namenya, is dead. 

President William Ruto has condoled with the family of Dagoretti North MP Beatrice Elachi following the death of their son, Elvis Murakana Namenya.   

In a social media update on Tuesday, March 25, the Head of State offered prayers and words of comfort to the grieving family. 

"May God grant Beatrice Elachi and the family strength to bear with the loss of their dear son, Elvis Murakana. Be comforted by the word of the Lord in Psalm 147:3: ‘He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Rest In Peace, Elvis," he stated.

Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai also extended his condolences, acknowledging the profound loss experienced by the family. 

"Dear Beatrice Elachi, it is with a heavy heart that I extend my deepest condolences to you and your family on the tragic loss of your son, Elvis Murakana. As the MCA for Kileleshwa Ward, I join the people of Dagoretti North and beyond in mourning this profound loss," he said.

The Kileleshwa MCA added, "Losing a child is an unimaginable pain, and my thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time. May you find strength and solace in the love and support that surrounds you. 

"Elvis, your fourth child, will forever remain in our hearts and memories. On behalf of the Kileleshwa Ward community, I offer our unwavering support and prayers for you and your family as you navigate this grief." 

The Orange Democratic Movement party also sent their message of condolences, assuring Elachi of its support.

“May God grant Beatrice Elachi and their family the fortitude and strength to overcome the pain of losing her son Elvis Murakana Namenya. It is such a huge loss to her. As a party, we stand with her during this difficult moment of mourning and grief,” the party wrote on X.
