Former Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi has issued a warning to President William Ruto, vowing not to be silenced.
Speaking on Wednesday, April 2, Muturi, who was recently sacked from his position in Ruto’s administration, made it clear that he would not be intimidated.
"If their goal was to silence me, then they've dialed the wrong number," he stated.
Muturi revealed that he had previously written to Ruto, urging him to address the growing concerns over abductions and extrajudicial killings in the country.
However, according to the former CS, his pleas have fallen on deaf ears.

"I told the President in a letter that the issue of abductions and extrajudicial killings should be prioritized and placed on the agenda of future Cabinet meetings. Ladies and gentlemen, to date, the President has never responded to my letters, clearly indicating that he does not consider the matter worthy of his attention," he added.
Muturi also questions about Ruto's knowledge of alleged crimes committed by security agencies, suggesting that those responsible must be held accountable.
"The question we are all asking is this: If the President knew of the existence of such a squad that committed heinous crimes, should its members not face the full weight of the law for the crimes they have committed?" he posed.
On Wednesday, March 26, Ruto made changes to his Cabinet, resulting in the removal of Muturi from office.
Muturi was sacked hours after Ruto criticized his performance, particularly during his earlier tenure as Attorney General, labeling him "fairly incompetent" for delays in establishing Waqf.
This public rebuke occurred during an Iftar dinner at State House on Tuesday, March 25, where Ruto contrasted Muturi’s record with the current Attorney General, Dorcas Oduor, whom he praised.
"I had a problem with the AG who was there, he was fairly incompetent. But I now have a very competent lady in that position, and I can assure you that the issues of Waqf will be sorted out in a matter of months," Ruto said.
Before being fired, Muturi had taken issue with the abductions and extrajudicial killings in the country and wanted the President to take more action to resolve the issue.
