The Kenya Forestry College (KFC) has announced the opening of applications for its 2025/2026 training programmes. 

In a public notice, the college invited eligible candidates to apply for a wide range of diploma and certificate courses in forestry and environmental conservation. 

The training programmes include diplomas in Forestry, Environmental Management, Wood Science and Technology, Bamboo Technology and Information Communication Technology (ICT).  

Additionally, certificate courses are available in Forestry, Wood Science and Technology, Apiculture Management, Bamboo Technology, ICT and Business Management.

Interested applicants are advised to download application forms from the official website www.kenyaforestryservice.org.

Applicants are also required to submit written applications, including copies of academic documents, a national ID or birth certificate and a banking slip for the application fee. 

All applications must be addressed to The Principal, Kenya Forestry College, P.O. BOX 8-20203, Londiani, Kenya before April 30, 2025.

According to the notice, a non-refundable fee of Ksh1,000 is required and should be paid through the e-Citizen platform, kfs.ecitizen.go.ke, with proof of payment attached. 

Applications should also include the applicant's personal contact details and email address.

In addition to direct applications, students may apply through the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS). 

Admitted students are required to confirm their admission on the KFS website and follow up with the principal.
