A Suzuki wagon rammed into a trailer in the Northern Bypass.

At least four people have been confirmed dead in a grisly road accident.

A police report seen by Nairobi Leo showed the accident occurred on Saturday dawn, April 19.

The accident happened on the Northern By-pass near the Membley Bridge area.

According to the police, the ill-fated Suzuki Wagon had four occupants; namely Dionisious Njau Githinji, Naomi Wambui and two others unknown.

The trailer was en route to the Membley roundabout coming from Kahawa West.

The small car rammed into the rear of the trailer.

Police said that due to the impact of the collision, all four occupants of the Suzuki Wagon died on the spot.

The bodies were booked into Thika's General Kago Mortuary ahead of the identification and post mortem.

The accident occurred five days after another one in which three people lost their lives after being involved in a road accident on Monday, April 14, morning in the Manguo area along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.

The grisly accident occurred after a 14-seater matatu collided head-on with an oncoming Isuzu lorry.

The matatu which belongs to Luxury Sacco was heading to Nairobi when it collided with the lorry that was heading Nakuru.

The accident resulted in the death of three people while 8 passengers in the Matatu suffered injuries.

Police officers and emergency responders arrived at the scene and rushed the injured to the hospital for medical attention.

Photos of the accident seen by Nairobileo.co.ke showed the matatu completely damaged on the front end while the lorry overturned on the side of the road.
