Leaders across the political divide visited Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika after her return from maternity leave.

Among the leaders present during the Friday event were Moses Kuria - the President's economic advisor, Millicent Omanga, and Thika MP Alice Nganga.

Also present were Molo MP Kimani Kuria, Dagoretti North MP Beatrice Elachi and Mathira MP Eric Wamumbi, among others.

At the event, the leaders got a meet the governor's children and celebrate the family for their new blessings.

"Nothing beats this double bundle of joy. Not Earthly things nor any position of power. Congratulations to my great friends Sam Mburu and your dear wife Governor Susan Kihika. May Jayden and Jonathan grow to be a blessing to this nation," Kuria wrote after the visit.

On her part, Kihika thanked the leaders for visiting her and supporting her.

"Your love, prayers, and presence mean the world to me and my family. Thank you for standing with me in this special season of double blessings," read the statement in part.

"Truly, there is nothing like the bond of friendship and support in leadership."

Kihika had been away from office duties after taking maternity leave.

She was in the US for the birth of her 2 kids.
