People's Liberation Party leader Martha Karua has criticised Morara Kebaso following allegations he made regarding the meeting of opposition leaders.
In his remarks on Tuesday, April 29, Kebaso claimed that the opposition leaders were not fit to hold office over controversies that surrounded them in government.
Karua, in response, expressed that all attention needed to be put on how President Ruto's government would be voted out in 2027, adding that other statements were state-sponsored, aimed at diverting attention.
"The focus should be on bringing him and his accomplices to account. Any other discussions that deviate from this topic are state-sponsored diversion tactics from Blood Parliament," she expressed.

In particular, Morara had claimed that Gachagua was unfit to hold office because of his past remarks that were perceived to be tribal.
He also hit out at the incorporation of Mithika Linturi into the opposition group owing to the fertiliser scandal that was witnessed in the Agriculture Ministry during his tenure.
"This is unity without vision, unity without purpose. I urge all the young people of Kenya to reject this coalition of tumbocrats and projects funded by the guy who stole 6 trillion from this nation. Let all young leaders come together and chart a new path for Kenya," he stated.
"I am ready to sit down with progressive leaders who lack the experience of theft. We will not recycle the problem to solve the problem."
