Come June 11, a Toyota Corolla will be auctioned in Thika while a Toyota Hilux is scheduled for auction in Embu on June 13.

The vehicle auction concludes at NTSA Headquarters on the same day with a Nissan Urvan.

Aside from the motor vehicles, the NTSA auction will feature a total of 18 assorted car batteries which will be available at NTSA Headquarters and NTSA Likoni Road.

Additionally, 185 assorted motor vehicle tyres, sourced from NTSA offices in Likoni Road, Kisumu, and Mombasa, will be auctioned at the Likoni Road premises.

Office furniture and equipment, including chairs, desks, seats, and broken wooden doors, will also be up for grabs at the Likoni Road yard.

NTSA is also offering an assortment of car accessories such as headlamps, shocks, strobe lights, and rear lenses which will be auctioned at NTSA Likoni Road on June 13.

Interested bidders are required to obtain the Auction Catalogue, which provides further details, from Immediate Auctioneers.

With the catalogue made available for a non-refundable fee of Ksh500, viewing of the items begins immediately and continues until June 3, 2025.

Bidders are encouraged to inspect the items for themselves, as all sales are on an “as-is where-is” basis, and NTSA offers no warranties on the condition or functionality of the items.

To participate in the auction, bidders must pay a refundable deposit of Ksh100,000 for each motor vehicle and a deposit of Ksh20,000 for assorted items.

The deposits must be made by 5PM on June 3, 2025.

Upon payment, bidders will be issued a bidding number which grants them entry to the auction yard.

According to NTSA, no one will be permitted to bid without a valid bidding number and a copy of the Auction Catalogue.

Successful bidders are required to pay 10% of the purchase price by close of business on the auction date, with the remaining balance to be cleared within 14 calendar days.

If a bidder fails to pay the full amount within this period, the 10% deposit will be forfeited.

Further, items not collected within this period will attract a daily storage fee of Ksh1,000, and in cases where bidders are unsuccessful, their deposits will be refunded within seven days after the auction.
