Kenya Power has announced power interruptions in parts of Nairobi, Kisii, and Kiambu counties on Monday.

Kenya Power has announced scheduled power interruptions in parts of Nairobi, Kisii, and Kiambu counties on Monday, June 23. 

In a notice issued on Sunday, June 22, the utility company stated that the outages will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in all affected areas. 

In Nairobi County, the interruption will affect part of Parklands. 

Legal Plaza, sections of Limuru Road, 6th Parklands Avenue, Ita Road, and surrounding areas will be without electricity during the maintenance period.

In the South Nyanza region, a large portion of Kisii County is expected to be affected. 

The areas include Nyamache, Kiamokama, Ibacho, Gesusu, Nyacheki, Geteri, Entakana, Masimba, Borangi, Kiomiti, Maji Mazuri, Kiobegi, and Gionseri.

Other affected areas are Kionduso, Tukiamwana, Igare, Emenwa, Boitangare, Kibichanwa, Moremani, Mobamba, Mochengo, Mokoroiginywa, Mogweko, Baringo, Naikuru, Isena, and nearby residents.

In Kiambu County, the North Eastern region maintenance will impact customers around Matara Tea Factory. 

Other affected areas include Kiriko Mission, Matara Factory, Gachege Tea Factory, Ndarug Tea Factory, Matara Dispensary, Kanyoni Market, Gicheha Market, and Thuraku Village. 

Karatu Market, Karinga Girls School, Gitwe Market, Gikure Market, Ituramiru Market, Gakunyi, Gituamba Market, and adjacent areas will also be affected.
