Kenya Power has announced scheduled power outages set to affect parts of Nairobi, Migori, Kiambu, and Kilifi Counties on Friday, July 4.
In a statement on Thursday, July 3, the company said the outages will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in all affected locations.
In Nairobi, the outage will affect Parklands, specifically Wangapala Road and its adjacent customers.
In Migori County, the blackout will impact large portions of the South Nyanza region, including Ntimaru Market, Taranganya Market and surrounding schools, Kobito Village and Riamanyangi.
Other affected areas are Angata Sugar Factory, Guitembe Market, Senta Market, Wangirabose, Masangora, Nyabikongori, and nearby communities.

In Kiambu County, parts of Thindigua and Fourways Junction will experience a power outage.
The affected areas include Thindigua, Kigwa Farm, Paradise Lost, Muhasibu, Kwaheri Road, Fourways Junction and Bar Next Door.
The KFC outlet at the Shell station, Thindigua Police Station, PCEA Thindigua Church, and adjacent customers will also be affected.
In Kilifi County, the coastal town of Gede and its surroundings will also be affected.
The specific locations include Matsangoni, Mida Creek, Uyomboa, Mpenda Kula, Gede, and neighboring communities.
