The Social Health Authority (SHA) has cautioned Kenyans over an advertisement announcing mass recruitment at the institution.

Therefore, Kenyans were asked to disregard the advertisement.
The fake advertisement had announced mass recruitment of employees for various jobs such as drivers, accountants, and cleaners.

The authors of the advert had claimed that SHA was seeking to recruit over 200 employees, with the applications set to close on July 7, 2025.
This is not the first time that fake job posters have been made targeting the authority that replaced the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF).
Similar to other fake job adverts, the masterminds usually target to swindle Kenyans by offering a job position for money.
In other cases, the authors also mine individuals' data to be used for scams.
Therefore, job seekers must always be on the lookout for such scams to avoid being conned out of their hard-earned money.
For SHA jobs, adverts are usually placed in national newspapers, including the MyGov publication.
Equally, such recruitments are usually announced on the website and on the official and verified social media handles.
