The Social Health Authority (SHA) has announced 64 vacancies across various positions in the authority.
In a notice on Tuesday, July 29, SHA said it is seeking to recruit visionary and experienced individuals for the positions.
“To enhance institutional capacity and deliver on its mandate, the SHA Board seeks to recruit visionary, result-driven, and experienced professionals for the following Senior Management positions,” the notice reads in part.
The vacancies include directors in Provider and Beneficiary Management, Benefits & Claims Management, Corporate Services, Funds & Finance Management, and Internal Audit.
The authority is also seeking to fill the positions of Deputy Director, County Coordination, Deputy Director, Legal Services, Deputy Director, Human Resource Management and Development, Deputy Director, Administration, Deputy Director, Corporate Communication, Deputy Director, Information and Communication Technology, Deputy Director, Finance and Accounts, Deputy Director, Funds Management, Deputy Director, Supply Chain Management and Deputy Director, Internal Audit.

Similarly, SHA is seeking to recruit Assistant Directors in the County Coordination, Legal Services, Human Resource, Administration, Corporate Communication, Customer Experience, ICT, Fund Management, Finance and Accounts, Supply Chain Management, Internal Audit, Claims Management, Benefits Management, Registration and Compliance, Provider Management, and Planning and Linkages departments.
Applicants are required to satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution by submitting valid and current copies of the Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations and a tax compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority.
They are also required to present a clearance certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), a clearance certificate from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), and a Report from a Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).

Interested candidates should submit their applications, including a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, a cover letter demonstrating suitability for the position, and contacts of at least three professional referees.

“Applications can be submitted online on https://recruitment.sha.go.ke or physically delivered to the SHA building, 10th floor, by clearly marking the position applied for on the envelope,” SHA stated.
The deadline for the applications is August 19, 2025, at 5 PM.
