The leader of minority in the National assembly John Mbadi has stated that ODM leader Raila Odinga was aware of President Uhuru Kenyatta's meeting with coast Governors.
The President on Wednesday met Hassan Joho (Mombasa), Salim Mvurya (Kwale), and Amason Kingi (Kilifi) at State House Nairobi.
It was not immediately clear what the president and the coast leaders were discussing as no statement was issued afterward.
The meeting elicited reactions from politicians allied to Deputy President William Ruto with a section opined that he was creating 'tribal chiefs' as others claimed Odinga was being isolated and weakened.

Mbadi has now disclosed that the President discussed the meeting with Odinga.
The legislator added that the former premier could not attend the meeting since he was isolating having tested positive for Covid-19.
"Raila is in isolation as required, if it were not that, he’d have been at the State House meeting with the coast governors," Mbadi stated.
