- DP William Ruto Receives Covid-19 Vaccine at Karen Residence (Photos)

Deputy President William Ruto together with his wife Rachel Ruto on Tuesday received the covid-19 vaccine at his Karen residence, Nairobi County.

In an update via Twitter, DP Ruto encouraged Kenyans to receive the jab as a way of protecting themselves against the pandemic.

"COVID-19 vaccines are our safe and effective tools in saving lives and managing the disease. I encourage Kenyans to participate in this exercise to protect ourselves against the pandemic.

"My family and I received the COVID-19 vaccination at the Karen Residence, Nairobi County," the DP tweeted.

This comes barely a week after President Uhuru Kenyatta took the Covid-19 vaccine at State House.

The Head of State was vaccinated at State House on March 26, 2021, in a bid to dispel fears of the vaccine-elicited by members of the public.
