The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has announced a major recruitment drive, offering 100 job openings for the position of Firefighter Trainee.
In a notice on Tuesday, November 25, the authority said successful applicants will be employed on a contract basis for an initial one-year on-the-job training program.
Upon successful completion of the training, recruits will be considered for appointment on permanent and pensionable terms.
KAA has directed interested applicants to visit its official website, www.kaa.go.ke, under the Careers Section, for detailed job descriptions, qualifications, and application procedures.
All applications must be submitted by Monday, December 8, at 5:00 p.m.

Elsewhere, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced 9,159 job vacancies in the commission.
In an advertisement on Tuesday, TSC said it is seeking to replace teachers who exited the service through natural attrition.
The vacancies include 7,065 primary school posts, 12 Junior school posts and 2,082 Secondary School posts.
*The Teachers Service Commission is declaring 9,159 vacancies to replace teachers who exited service through natural attrition, i.e. 7,065 posts for primary schools, 12 posts for Junior Schools and 2,082 posts for Secondary Schools. The teachers recruited will serve on Permanent and Pensionable terms of service," read the notice in part.
Interested candidates are required to hold Kenyan citizenship and possess a minimum of a P1 certificate for Primary Schools and a minimum of a diploma in education for junior schools and Secondary schools.
The applicants must also be registered teachers with TSC.
Interested and qualified candidates should submit their applications online through the Teachers Service Commission’s website, www.tsc.go.ke, under ‘Careers’ or teachersonline.tsc.go.ke.
"Details on available vacancies per County/or Schools are on the Teachers Service Commission’s website: www.tsc.go.ke," TSC stated.
The deadline for submitting the applications is December 8, 2025, at midnight.
At the same time, the commission stated that shortlisted candidates will be required to present their original academic and professional certificates during interviews.
TSC also mentioned that preference will be given to applicants who have not previously been employed by the Teachers Service Commission.
The commission also said successful candidates will be posted to serve in any part of the Country and not necessarily in the County or School where they were interviewed.
Further, the TSC cautioned applicants against falling victim to fraudsters who may attempt to extort money while pretending to assist in the recruitment process.
"The recruitment exercise is free of charge. The Teachers Service Commission forewarns applicants against fraudsters who might extort money from unsuspecting persons purporting to assist in recruitment," TSC added.
