Kenya on Tuesday, April 13 2021 recorded 991 Covid-19 positive cases, from a sample size of 6,417 tested in the last 24 hours.
The positivity rate is now at 15.4% with the total confirmed positive cases are being reported standing at 147,147.
Meanwhile, the country's cumulative tests so far conducted are 1,571,244.
A statement from the Ministry of Health indicated that 26 succumbed to the disease which brings the death toll to 2,394.
"26 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours, one occurred in the last 24 hours, 15 within the last one month & 10 being late death reports from facility record audits on diverse dates. This now pushes our cumulative fatalities to 2,394," MoH reported.
MoH said 370 patients have recovered from the coronavirus disease, 214 from Home Based and Isolation Care while 156 are from various health facilities
The total number of recoveries now stands at 99,580.
