President Uhuru Kenyatta will be hosting his Tanzanian counterpart Samia Suluhu Hassan next week.
A statement from Statehouse Nairobi indicated that President Suluhu will be visiting Kena on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.
This will be her first visit to Kenya after she was sworn in as Head of State of Tanzania following the passing of the Late Dr John Pombe Magufuli.
"Her Excellency @SuluhuSamia, President of the United Republic of Tanzania???????? will arrive in the country on Tuesday, 4th May 2021 for a two-day State Visit to the Republic of Kenya," a statement from Spokesperson Kanze Dena Mararo read.
"President Uhuru Kenyatta will receive his Tanzania counterpart at State House, Nairobi on the same day. Other details of Her Excellency's visit will be shared in due course."

Last month President Suluhu met with a Special Envoy of President Kenyatta at State House in Dar es Salaam which was led by Sports CS Amina Mohamed to Tanzania in an effort to restore diplomatic ties between the two countries.
CS Amina also delivered President Kenyatta's message of goodwill to his Tanzanian counterpart as well as an invitation letter requesting the Tanzanian leader to make an official visit to Kenya.
Tanzania guaranteed Kenya support, restoration of diplomatic ties after President Suluhu. President Kenyatta also guaranteed the Tanzanian leader support from the Kenyan government especially in restoring the diplomatic ties which had been broken during the late President John Pombe Magufuli tenure.
