A Churchill Show comedian Young Juma who brought laughter to many homes with his performance has died.
The kid comedian died on Tuesday morning after battling an undisclosed illness.
"After a long ailment, Juma passed on yesterday morning at his mum's place in kiamaiko. We lost a very vibrant young soul and also breadwinner, we know God is always there to protect and guide your left family. We will pray for your soul and spirit. REST IN PEACE JUMA???? You will always be remembered," Nairobi Matatu Sacco head Jimal Marlow shared.
Juma was discovered at a young age back in 2015 and made several appearances on the Churchill Show where he also opened up on the struggles of growing up in Kiamaiko slums.
Kenyans first met Juma when e was featured on Churchill Show’s Totos Corner while studying at Valley Bridge primary school exuded. He became an instant crowd favourite.
Churchill hosted him on the show with his mother. Churchill had looked for some sponsors who pledged to pay Juma’s school fees.
