The Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) has announced 365 short-term job opportunities.

In an advertisement on Tuesday, August 11, ORPP invited interested and qualified candidates to apply for the positions. 

ORPP noted that successful individuals will serve as County and Constituency Monitors, as well as Call Centre Monitors. 

“In furtherance of its mandate and its vision of becoming a model regulator of political parties for a credible democratic multiparty system, the Office seeks to recruit competent, capable, and self-motivated individuals of the requisite expertise and experience to serve as County and Constituency Monitors, as well as Call Centre Monitors, on short-term contract terms,” read the advert in part. 

The vacancies include: County Monitor (55), Constituency Monitor (290) and Call Centre Monitor (20).

According to the ORPP, successful candidates will be tasked with monitoring the pre-election, election, and post-election activities of political parties, including their compliance with the Constitution, the Political Parties Act, and the Code of Conduct for Political Parties.

“The positions are tenable at the County, Constituency, and Headquarters levels, respectively,” ORPP stated. 

Successful candidates will be required to provide clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB), and the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB). 

Candidates with foreign degrees will be required to provide clearance, authentication, and recognition by the Commission for University Education. 

How to Apply 

Interested and qualified candidates are required to submit their application online through the ORPP Jobs e-recruitment portal at https:/recruitment. orpp.or.ke.

The deadline for submitting the applications is September 1, 2026, at 5:00 PM. 

Further, ORPP warned applicants against presenting fake certificates, forged documents, or any false information. 

“ORPP does not charge a fee at any stage of its selection process including application, interviews and processing of offer letter,” the advert added. 

The ORPP is an independent State Office which is mandated to register, regulate political parties and administer the political parties fund.
